About Us

Your First Interview was founded in 2010 by Tee Macpherson, Managing Director, and Nicole Hershon, Senior Consultant.  When Tee’s eldest child started looking for part-time employment and considering university placements, Tee realised how challenging and daunting this task is for young people.  This insight prompted her to set up Your First Interview, ensuring as many young people get the support and guidance they need to increase their opportunities.

We bring with us in-depth business skills and expertise from the commercial work environment.  We have worked with young people in a variety of sectors including retail, events, finance, leisure, banks, various trade, government and professional retailers.

Feedback from teachers, students and parents confirm that our interactive and engaging workshops enable us to connect with the students and achieve positive outcomes.
